My son loves football and attends quite a few different training sessions.
A couple of years ago a friend approached me and a couple of other dads with a view to us running a team on a Sunday. There’s nothing to it we were told, and you will really enjoy it.
50% of the statement turned out to be true. Two years later I am on the club committee, spend an inordinate amount of my time on stuff related to either my team or the club, have been on umpteen coaching courses, and have spent a fortune on subscriptions to coaching websites, books, and training clobber. However, I do get an enormous amount of enjoyment out of it.
Hopefully as the team progresses some of our adventures may strike a chord with some of you out there.
